Cristóbal Palma – Viewpoint #3

- Abr 2016

It consists of a two-sided light box (186 x 126 cm) housed in one of the rooms of Casa Libertad. Each light box offers the mirror image of the space in front. The relationship between these images and their physical environment, and the way in which the object is located, invite the viewer to rethink his/her relationship with the physical environment. The presence of this device offers the possibility of transforming the room in the container of itself.

Viewpoint was first showed at Tajamar Gallery in 2014, and later the same year at the multidisciplinary exhibition AreaBorde at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago.
