Libertad Station is part of the urban rail system in Santiago, located on Line No 5 between Quinta Normal and Cumming stations in Yungay District.

The singularity of this station is that it is a ghost station: it is never been in service and it will not be so in the short term. It has never been used because its close to other metro stations, and because there is not have enough of a commuter population in this area of the city.

Just above the station a plaza was built for the entrance but it remained closed until December of 2013.

Today this plaza is enclosed on all sides.
